These terms apply to your use of unclejetlag.com (the "site"), which is published by Willard Munyaradzi Kachere under the name Uncle Jetlag ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Information, not advice
Uncle Jetlag publishes general travel information. It is not legal, immigration, tax, medical, insurance or financial advice, and it doesn't create any professional relationship between us.
Entry requirements, visa fees, exchange rates, safety conditions and product terms change often, sometimes without notice. Before you book or travel, check anything important with the official source: the relevant government or embassy, your airline, bank or insurer, or a qualified professional. You're responsible for your own travel documents and decisions.
Accuracy and updates
Each page shows when it was last updated and, where relevant, the sources we checked. We correct errors promptly (see our Corrections Policy). However, we can't guarantee that every piece of information is complete, current or error-free when you read it.
Advertising, affiliate links and third parties
The site shows advertising (including Google AdSense) and contains affiliate links, which may earn us a commission (see our Affiliate Disclosure).
We don't control third-party websites, products or services, and we're not responsible for them. Any purchase you make is between you and that provider, on their terms.
Intellectual property
The text, graphics, logos and design on this site belong to Uncle Jetlag or its licensors. You're welcome to link to our pages and to quote short extracts with attribution and a link. Please don't:
- republish whole articles
- scrape the site in bulk
- use our content to train commercial datasets without written permission
"Uncle Jetlag" and the Uncle Jetlag logo are our brand. Please don't use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law using the site
- try to gain unauthorised access to it
- disrupt or overload it
- introduce malware
- misrepresent your affiliation with us
